ProVision is the name of the operating system which runs on the HP ProCurve switches- it was introduced to show differentiation between Comware and Provision. This was also called the HP E Series for a short time.
Provision runs on the 8200, 5400, 3800, 2920, 2910al, 2600, 2500, etc
Since the acquisition / merger of Aruba, the product set has been re branded as an Aruba platform.
