Center Against Family Violence
At the meeting on Tuesday, November 28, the members in attendance will have the opportunity to select a child to sponsor. The objective is to brighten their holiday by purchasing the child the gift they have requested (or something similar) and pajamas corresponding to their size. Below is the procedure members will need to follow to successfully participate. If all children are not selected during the meeting, more information will be provided.
On the day of the meeting 11/28/23
1. Select a slip for the child you have selected to sponsor.
2. Write your name on the selected slip and copy ALL the child’s information onto the bottom of this form for later reference.
3. Register your name and child number by completing the form. You may also scan the code or go to the link: https://tinyurl.com/cafvxmas
4. TURN IN YOUR WHITE SLIP TO MRS. NAVARRETTE, MRS. ROJAS OR AN OFFICER BEFORE LEAVING THE MEETING!!
By 12/11/23
1. Shop for the items on the slip (or something comparable; approx. $20 - $35) AND a pair of pajamas (size/gender are on the slip)
2. Wrap the gift and pajamas, together or separately.
3. You are welcome to include other items if you wish.
4. Be sure to notify a sponsor with any concerns immediately.
5. Tape a gift tag to the package with the child’s name and number (the number from the list; ask if you aren’t sure what it is). Also include the portion cut from below.
On or before 12/12/23
1. Drop the wrapped, tagged package off in Mrs. Navarrette or Mrs. Rojas’ room.
2. Record your donation on the digital or paper service form; 4 hours total (2 for gift and 2 for pajamas).
Please inform Mrs. Navarrette or Mrs. Rojas ASAP, if you have any conflicts. It is critical that you follow directions for this process to work.
