In Loving Memory of T. M Philip (August 23, 1921 – Jun 20, 2011)
This is to inform with great grief that our beloved FatherT.M.Philip, Kakkudiyil Thevelikkara, Kottoor, Kaviyoor, Tiruvalla, Kerala has called to his heavenly abode on 20th June 2011 at 3.05 AM at New Delhi. His funeral was held at his hometown at Kerala on 23rd June at 11.0AM.
T.M.Philip (Appachen) was born at Kottoor, Kaviyoor in Kakkudiyil Thevelikkara Family on 23/08/1921 (Chingam 08, 1096) to Mr. Potha Mathai (Late) and Mrs. Aleyamma Mathai (Late). He is survived by 4 Sons & 3 Daughters 14 grand Children and 3 great grand children and also 4 Brothers & 3 Sisters.
He married to Mrs. Aleyamma Philip (Late) daughter of (Late)Mr. Chandy Alexander, Kochukuzhydathil House, Kumbanadu, Kadapra, Kerala on August 23, 1948.
Our Appachen T.M.Philip was a man of God. He dedicated his life to Jesus in the age of 17 along with his parents when there was a spiritual warfare in the Church in early 1938. He has been saved and baptized by Pastor K C John at Chathenkerry in 1978. Since then he was living a godly life in Christ Jesus. He was serving God & propagating Gospel of Jesus from 1978 to till date. He was a Good preacher & was an Evangelist with various gifts. He has organized many prayer Cell & fellowships. During the period of his serving God many accepted Jesus & got saved, healed and delivered from all kinds of illness and wherever he preached there were very big spiritual awakening in the Church and in the Locality. He used to undertake lot of Charity activities and always helping the poor & Gods servants. Though He had no eyesight, still he used to travel to distance places to propagate gospel & attend prayer meetings. He has written a lot of hand written prophetical articles and Songs. He was loved by all walks of people in the Society, Church, Family and relatives. He was an ideal father, husband and friend. All walks of people were his friends & dearer ones and to write a few are Madappattil Kunjuchayan (Late), Kakkudi Appachen Idukkula (Late), Thaikkattil Kunjucherukkan (Late) Puthikulam Chackochayan (Late) and so on. Kochukakkudiyil (Anguveettil Padinjattumsserry) Appachen father of Kunjuchayan & Sunnychayan and younger Brother of Potha Mathai his father was his most intimate & respected Uppappen . He was a man of enthusiasm and a lot of people come to him to hear his knowledgeable talk spiritually and also otherwise. He was a visionary in all respect. He was a big man of honour and a respectable father for us.
It will not be out of space to mention that he was completely blind for the last 30 years. It is interesting to note that during this period he was propagating and serving God all alone from one place to another in and around Kerala. It is because of him that his 3rd Son Achenkunju ( currently Pr. Philip Thevelikkara Philip) got saved in 1997 and become a God's servant and was serving God in New Delhi. His last wish was that he wanted to visit Delhi & witness himself in his son's God's Ministry. It was because of his prayer that I have come to Jesus. Though he was blind, he had in-depth knowledge about Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Every word of God he was in memory.
He was truly a great Husband to our mother and a great father, always thoughtful, understanding, and kind. Till the last breath of his life, he was in full command and control as a father. He treasured every moment with his Children and grand children. He always enjoyed devoting his time to singing spiritual songs, praying and learning from the word of God. Although he will be dearly missed, we are thankful to God for all the wonderful moments we had with him, his sweet voice and his warm heart.
His last worship was in Railway Hospital along with his daughter-in-law Susamma Philip. They both read a Bible portion and he sang a song loudly titled ... Athmave Vanneeduka Vishuddhalmave Vanneduka ......... then he prayed in good conscience. The next day same time he fell on Comma.
We thank and praise God for showering his marvelous grace for him and his godly life and have full faith in Jesus to see him in heaven again. HE IS NOW SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS.

" I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will award to me on that day and not only to me, but all who have longed for his appearing (2 Timothy 4: 7-8)
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so well be with the Lord forever" (1 Thess. 4: 16-17)
