Welcome to both Hogwarts Online and to your official orientation class! This class was put together by various members of staff in order to help you become more familiar with how things work.
With Houses, activities, classes and so much more going on, it can feel a bit overwhelming. The important thing to remember though is that we're all here to help make your HOL journey a memorable one.
This class is co-taught by Prof. Sky Alton and Prof. Amy Lupin. This class as you see it today was created by Prof. Lupin (with tweaks by Prof. Alton). Kim Alting, Prof. Hailey Potter, Prof. Zenix James and Adeliene Cromwell have all taught different versions over the years
Please note that we will try to make sure the information in this class is as up-to-date as possible, so some of the content might change from time to time. Additionally, this class is for first years only. The Head Office may make an exception for someone returning to the community after an extended absence but this will be decided on a case by case basis.
Please remember the HOL policy on using AI tools. You should never use it to generate your written responses and there are rules about using it for artwork that you can find in the handbook. We don’t mind if your written English isn’t perfect, we’re interested in hearing your unique voice and thoughts. We take a lot of care grading each and every assignment, all we ask in return is that you respect our time and send in work that’s completely your own.
