WESTONBIRT ASSOCIATION
SCHOOL HYMN
A scratch choir of Old Girls sang the Westonbirt School Hymn on 20 June 2010 in the Main Hall of Westonbirt School at the concert in memory of Miss Naylor, at the 80th birthday party of the Association.
It was recorded on a small camera for personal pleasure; faults are those of the equipment and the person that held it.
The hymn, written by Miss Kathleen M Warburton (English teacher, Honorary Member of the Association), won the competition set up in the 1940s when the pupils asked for a School hymn or song. The tune was composed by Thomas F Dunhill.
