Fully-Virtual School UPDATES
as we approach Semester 2 of 2020-21 School Year:

A Thank You to everyone involved in Theatre Semester 1: WOW! I have been so inspired by everyone's willingness to adapt to creating & performing theatre in a fully virtual classroom! I'm so proud of everyone's teamwork, patience, and support for one another while we figured out how to do our Theatre classes online. All of this has already proven to me how resilient and creative our Theatre Department is- because of each of you, who chose to persevere, find ways to remain positive, create awesome Theatre, and encourage one another even from afar. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF FULL LENGTH PUBLIC PERFORMANCES FOR FALL & SPRING PRODUCTIONS?

At this time, if we remain fully virtual for the full school year, the Theatre Department is planning to produce a full-length production in each upper level course, each semester.

This means two full length productions will be produced each semester, fully auditioned, rehearsed and performed through the Theatre courses below:

Semester 1 Theatre Company GT : Public Streaming Full Length Plays - TO BE PREMIERED IN JANUARY 2021
Group 1: "The Importance of Being Earnest in a Pandemic"
Group 2: "The Help Desk"

CALLING ALL PARENTS!!!

Due to the current COVID-19 related circumstances, we are awaiting more information from HCPSS on what our 2020-21 school year will look like. We know all classes will be virtual for at least Sept 8, 2020- Jan 28, 2021.  We do not yet know the guidelines for our extracurricular portion of Theatre Department. Our Parent Volunteers are such an important part of our department. This website will be updated as soon as we know what the role of volunteers will be for 2020-21, and what needs the Theatre Department will have for the coming semester.
