Randolph County Museums
Randolph County, Missouri is unusual for a county of its size in that it has not one, but three museums. All three have displays and two have materials for genealogical research. At all three museums there are many photos and artifacts on display. If you are interested in history they are certainly worth a visit.

The Museum is open April-October 2 pm to 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Exhibits feature 19th century photos, furniture, scale model of movements at Battle of Roan's Tanyard, one of the largest balls of string in the world. In addition there is a library suited for genealogical and historical research. Also see the Mayo Cabin on the Courthouse Lawn and markers for the Glasgow Plank Road and the Trail of Death.

The society's collection between its two museums includes a genealogical library, Ludwig Abt architectural display and Gen. Omar Bradley memorabilia. The museum collection at the railroad museum includes a caboose, switchman's shanty and steam-train replica.
