2011 Induction at Draegers

On January 8, 2011, Hillsborough Bailliage held their induction Ceremonies at Draeger’s Viognier Restaurant. Bailliage Provincial Michael Martello inducted four new members:

  • Dame de la Chaîne Catherine Jensen

  • Chevalier Michael Kalkstein

  • Chevalier Dennis Swanson

In addition to the Induction Ceremonies, Bailliage Provincial Michael Martello presented a special award, “Officier Commandeur”, to Vice Gastronomic Walter Renner;

After the ceremonies, a four course dinner was served with a complement of paired wines, a Mendocino Enotria Arneis, a Russian River Merry Edwards Pinot Noir, a Conn Valley Neyers Ranch Merlot and a Napa Valley Corison Cabernet Sauvignon. During the dinner, entertainment was provided by Matt Helm, a Dean Martin Impersonator.

After dinner, Awards of Merit were given to Preston Dishman, Executive Chef and Robert Draeger, owner/manager of Viognier Restaurant.
