THE HASLETT BAND BOOSTERS
Haslett Band Boosters is an independent organization comprised of parents and/or guardians of all Haslett Band students from 6th through 12th grades. There is a Board of Directors. General monthly meetings are held for all members. We anticipate receiving 501c3 status very soon.
MISSION STATEMENT: The primary purpose of the Haslett Band Boosters organization is to provide parental support for the Haslett Public School Band Program. The goal is to provide an enhanced musical experience for band students through parental guidance, fund-raising and financial aid.
To meet our primary purpose and goals as described above in our "mission statement", we actively provide and/or support dozens of activities for Middle School and High School Band Students. Many volunteers work hard to provide these activities and to raise funds to support them. Brief lists follow:
Middle School Activities supported by Haslett Band Boosters:
MAC Night: Middle School band students have the Michigan Athletic Club "to themselves" one night late in March for two hours, at no cost to the student.
7th & 8th grade concert uniforms: care of, organizing, distributing, etc.
financial aid for students needing help participating in band activities such as private lessons, summer music camps, Solo & Ensemble workshops, etc.

High School Activities supported by Haslett Band Boosters:
Band Camp: a week long set of activities which are heavily facilitated by Haslett Band Boosters
Marching Band & Concert Uniforms: care of, organizing, distributing, etc.

Prizes for the Halloween Band Costume Contest

Holidays in Haslett Craft Show - in October of each year
Van Atta's gift certificates - in Spring of each year
Pampered Chef Fundraiser - in Fall of each year
Mattress Sale - in late Summer of each year
Cookie Dough sales - in November of each year
BIRP - Band Instrument Rescue Program - ongoing; we accept donated used instruments
Patron Program - donations are gratefully accepted throughout the year
