The following extra skills are available in the game.
Animal Handling (SP): care, training, control of beasts. When 'driving' a vehicle that is powered by beasts you may use this skill to supplement that roll (+1 per success and raise).
Craft-? (SM) - making everyday items, broad areas. All craft skills come with the following implied abilities: Make, Repair, Collect, Knowledge. These implied abilities only apply when the appropriate resources (tools, shops, workers) are available, essentially a downtime function. During adventures, for example, the Repair skill becomes primary and the Craft(repair) can be used to modify that roll.
Plant – using plant and associated materials, carpentry, cloth, forestry, fletching etc
Metal – using metals and associated materials, mining, smithing, weapons and armour etc.
Food – ability to cook and forage, slaughter and butcher animals, grow, harvest and preserve crops.
Tailor – using animal products to make materials, leather and hides.
Construction – masonry, engineering, basic architecture.
Arts - select one area of artistic excellence (music, literature&poetry, artwork&sculpting etc), other areas are at -2.
Craft skills can be taken multiple times. The first selection makes you a Journeyman crafter, a second selection makes you a Master Crafter (+2 to craft rolls), a third selection makes you a Legendary Crafter (+4 to craft rolls).
Trade(SM) – ability to Trade and make profits. Trade in this case is 'big picture' trade. Buying and selling loot is generally still done via the Streetwise skill, unless it is in commercial quantities.
Knowledge(Battle)(SM) - for mass battles.
Poisons(SM) - The character is skilled at making and using poisons of various kinds. See the rules section. See also Use Poisons edge.
Beast Master (Add) - adds +1 to Animal Handling skill rolls. The companion you gain thru this ability will automatically gain the Hardy edge.
Champion (change) - anyone can use.
Command (change) - You are able to re-distribute non-joker initiative cards with anyone you have a common bond with at the time that cards are dealt. All Command edges apply to allies in range.
Faith, Spellcasting, Psionics - These are the casting skills required by the various arcane casting classes. Note that nearly all creatures will have a psionic power and all are vulnerable to a psionic attacks.
Holy Warrior - Only Crusaders.
