RAMSES: Reconciling Adaptation, Mitigation and Sustainable Development for Cities
I was part of the LSE team at the RAMSES project. RAMSES was a European research project which aimed to deliver quantified evidence of the impacts of climate change and the costs and benefits of a wide range of adaptation measures, focusing on cities.
The RAMSES project launched On Urban Resilience - an audio-visual online guidance tool for cities to tackle climate change adaptation, part of an adaptation toolbox. This and other tools are available on the RAMSES website.
Project Insight Europe
I was a founding member of Project Insight Europe.
Project Insight Europe was an independent think tank set up by researchers affiliated to the European University Institute in Florence.
We focused on current socio-economic issues, drawing on an interdisciplinary network of economists and historians from different backgrounds. Our goal was to apply our academic expertise and professional experience to the discussion of some of the world's most challenging questions. Some of the resulting documents are available on our website.
