I am a researcher at the National Research Centre for the Working Environment.

I have previously worked as a Postdoc at the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science and at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen.  I work on the interdisciplinary project DISTRACT - the Political Economy of Distraction in Digitized Denmark

I focus my research on the formation of human capital. For children, I investigate resources such as cognitive abilities, preferences, personality, and network of friends.

Do preferences and personality matter? Yes, they do. For example, there are labor market and personal returns to patience (time preferences) and conscientiousness.

As a second part of my research agenda, I investigate employee resources such as attention and effort.

I defended my PhD in 2020. The title of my Ph.D. thesis is “Economic Behavior of Children and Young Adults”.
