POLOCROSSE IS The Team Horse Sport in Virginia for the Whole Family

Polocrosse is a unique display of horsemanship that combines the excitement of polo, coordination of lacrosse, and balanced seat riding into an action packed game of skill, teamwork, and endurance.

All ages and abilities can play! New riders that can hold a racket and steer pony independently in the arena can play. You do not need a team to get in the game!

Polocrosse is the Most exciting spectator Horse Sport!

Australian born, polocrosse is a unique display of horsemanship that combines the excitement of polo and racket skills of lacrosse into an action packed game of skill, teamwork, and endurance. All ages and abilities compete on 3 rider teams, galloping, pushing, and passing in 3, 6 minute chukkas, for the win, by goals scored.

The 160 yard polocrosse field is one third the size of a polo field, so the action is closer for the sideline spectator.

Polocrosse is often played at speed, catching, throwing, short and long passes with the drama of a contact sport. Players are at battle on the field and best of friends off.

It's dressage on steroids—leg yields, pushing, stops, take offs, butterfly turns on the haunches— moves to get and keep possession of the ball and to take it to the goal.
