Health Care Transition Research Consortium (HCTRC) Research Recruitment Policy
In alignment with HCTRC mission to support and facilitate contributions to the science and practice of health care transition, a priority is to encourage early in career researchers with their investigations. To that end, we will invite requests from graduate students to disseminate their recruitment announcements to the HCTRC network. The recruitment announcement will be posted on the HCTRC website (with a 1 year limit unless an extension request is made) and distributed on a monthly basis with the HCTRC webinar meeting announcement.
All recruitment requests will be reviewed and approved by the HCTRC Administrative Team. The recruitment application packet must include the following documents:
A brief description of the study written at the 4th grade literacy level with a link to the study. The study must be based upon a health care transition topic.
Description of the inclusion and exclusion criteria of your target study population (e.g. age range/patient/provider/geographic region)
If the PI is a doctoral candidate, please include a letter of approval from the dissertation chair to recruit from the HCTRC site
Copy of the IRB approval (HCTRC will provide a letter of support for the IRB application for the recruitment post).
Copy of the recruitment flyer/announcement for HCTRC distribution
Authors will be informed of HCTRC Administrative Team approval within 2 weeks of completed submission.
All requests are to be sent to Cecily L. Betz, PhD, RN, FAAN at cbetz@chla.usc.edu
