It's nearly here, our annual Wassail to awaken the trees and scare off those evil spirits!
We invite you to join us on Saturday 6th January at 7:00pm starting from The Rocklands Social Club.
We then process along Birchfield Road to the orchard where the fun, frolics and mayhem begin.
This year we will once again be joined by members of Arrow Valley Brass to enhance the singing, before our new Wassail Queen Ivy, will bless the trees. There will be mulled cider, produced from our own Headless Cross Orchard Group cider as well as mulled apple juice for a non-alcoholic treat.
After the orchard antics, you are invited to The White Hart function room, just over the road from the orchard, to enjoy an evening of comedy and song  from the awesome Ash Mandrake, who has travelled the length and breadth of England, bringing his unique mix of folk rock comedy to the people.
There is no entrance fee as this event is being sponsored by Headless Cross Community Orchard.
