Apple Day is a celebration of the harvest and all things appley! There is live entertainment throughout the day, rounded off by our increasingly infamous Cider Competition, bring along a bottle of your finest home produced cider to be judged by our panel of esteemed judges (often 'steamed' judges by the end of the competition!)
Bring along your own apples to be pressed on site and take away your own juice to enjoy fresh, or to start your entry for next year's cider competition. There is also a harvest swap where you can exchange your excess fruit/vegetables.
There are local craft, community and produce stalls to browse and if you are hungry, we have a BBQ featuring local free-range sausages and beefburgers. There are vegetarian and vegan foods available too, all locally produced. Our Cider Bar is very popular and features a number of our home produced Headless Cross Orchard Ciders as well as the local Tardebigge Cider.
To entertain the young and young at heart, we have a variety of amusements, including The Amazing Human Fruit Machine, Splat The Rat, Stone the Crows, Apple Olympics and Face Painting.
Apple Day is held on the first Saturday in October, from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Please check our Events Calendar.
