The IACM Patient Council
April 2022
The IACM Patient Council, an international voluntary coalition of patients’ organizations that have gathered together to help give a voice to patients all the world and to work together in order to protect their rights and interests in the ever-developing world of medicinal cannabis.
The needs and rights of patients the world over have been the moving force behind the changes that have come about in recent years in regards to the legalization of cannabis for medical use. Within the rapid developments which have been observed, there continue to be, unfortunately, great inequalities in many areas. In regards to legal access, trained and available medical practitioners and accurate, up-to-date information available to consumers we observe great variables from country to country. The council aims to help communicate best practices from country to country, empowering and enabling these patient associations to effectuate the necessary changes to ensure safe and affordable access to all patients across the globe. We aim at the active participation of patient organizations in the centers of decision making and policy changes as well as encouraging their involvement in the ongoing developments of industry and product access.
Join us in our endeavor to unite patients everywhere and ensure a better tomorrow for those to come.
The time is now.
The IACM Patient Council is run under the auspices of the IACM, the International Association of Cannabinoid Medicines and works in close alliance with the IACM to uphold the level of professionalism that has been associated with the IACM since its inception.
The council takes on no responsibility for the actions of its members within their own sovereign state and will take all reasonable measures to ensure that partnerships with patients associations will rest upon mutual respect in regards to ethics and legalities. More on: https://iacmpatients.com/
