Club Meetings

Join us if you think you are interested in learning about model trains, or are looking to join a group of like-minded folks! 

Business Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm at Merk's Place restaurant in Farmville.  A no-host dinner is followed by a formal meeting to conduct Club business as necessary. We discuss Club finances, projects and various other topics.  

Work Sessions are held on an as-needed basis.  

Operating Sessions on the HO-scale layout are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.  During this event, members are assigned operating roles (e.g., dispatcher, engineer, conductor) and perform formal train operations according to prepared train orders and switch lists.  While these are reserved for club members to operate their personal equipment, if you would like to learn about operations on a layout, feel free to join us and learn more about that!
