Information for prospective students, postdocs and visiting researcher

Thank you for your interest in the GIS and Remote Sensing lab. We are always looking for strong graduate students, postdocs and visiting scholars, and we encourage you to contact or visit us if you are interested in joining us. The graduate students/PostDoc fellow is expected to work setting up agriculture experiment, collecting field data using hand-held instruments, satellite imagery, UAV, and analyzing crop responses to climate using multi-source imaging techniques and machine learning algorithms. Funding opportunities exist for potential Postdoc from a2i innovation fund, UGC postdoctoral fellowship and ICT division.

In my research, I aim to engage with underrepresented communities and to address issues of social justice and inequality. I believe that research should not only advance knowledge but also have a positive impact on society.

In my service, I am committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within my department, college, and the wider academic community. I am also actively involved in initiatives and programs that aim to diversify the professoriate and support underrepresented students and scholars in their pursuit of academic excellence.
