Vendor Requirements:

1. All vendors must comply with all state and local ordinances.

2. All vendors are responsible for collecting any local and state sales taxes that may apply.

3. Tables and chairs will be supplied. You will need to bring your own table cloths, displays, & products.

4. Vendors will be responsible to clean up their space and remove all trash at the end of the show.

5. The International Dance Association of San Diego County (the event coordinators) and affiliates associated with this event are not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of property during this event.

  1. No food is allowed in the Ballroom. Water is permissible with a cap to prevent spills.

  2. All items must be family friendly. No sales of knives, no weapons, no adult products (keep it PG), no
    food sales or food samples of any sort allowed in the ballroom.

  3. No refunds once confirmed. Event will happen rain or shine as it is an indoor facility.

  4. Everything needs to be removed by 5:30pm on Sunday as there is another event at 6pm. You
    may start to dismantle your tables at 4pm on Sunday or at the discretion of the coordinator.

10. If selling items on Sat and Sun, vendors may leave their products in the ballroom overnight. There will be a Sat evening Roaring 20’s dance from 5:30-9:30pm. The ballroom is closed and locked at 10pm. Sales may continue during the evening dance. Most vendors close shop and join in the dance or go home after 5 or 6pm.

I hereby waive and release and hold harmless the International Dance Association of San Diego County (IDASDC), property owners, business operators, the County of San Diego and the State of California, and the city of San Diego and all Balboa Park employees against any and all claims for theft or damages to my booth or its contents, caused by actions and liability of myself, booth help and/or guests occurring before, during or after this event.

It is understood by the applicant that application acceptance and space assignment are at the discretion of the IDASDC. Factors of acceptance include, but are not limited to type of product/service, date application is received, and space availability. The vendor event will focus on costume sales, jewelry sales and seasonal items. If you bring jewelry to the event and you did not sign up to sell jewelry, you will be asked to remove the items. Failure to comply with request to remove items will result in being ejected from the event and you will be crossed off the list of approved vendors for next year.

Vendors will be chosen on 1st come, 1st served basis in product/service categories. Contact Salomon Rojas (srojas@ucsd.edu) if you have questions and to check availability before sending in an application so that he can assign you a vendor space.
