Over the past 20 years, I have been blessed to meet a number of wonderful teachers and instructors of the game. One of the best in our state is Brook Cupps, the head coach of Centerville High School. He has shared a number of his instructional videos with us, which are wonderful drills for any level of player.
I have also added a file folder with many othe drills we have used over the past 20 years as a staff. There are a number of resources to use, just remember -"Always seek knowledge from those who came before you.." Be a craftsman, become a better coach and player through learning from others.
We also attached some good motion offense videos to look at for all ages! you can run motion against anything- best way to teach good spacing and skill.
Basic Pass and cut- perfect start for k-3
Building on Open Post- really good man to man open
Great 4 around 1 action- building on basics- such as shot fake and sweeps.
These are some good man to man offensive actions.
Remember, teach the kids how to play, not just how to run plays.
Set up 3 v 3, 4 v4 situations too.
