Kelley Harris

I am an associate professor in the Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington in Seattle.

My computational biology research group uses large datasets of genetic variation to study the evolutionary history of humans and other species, with particular interests in coalescent theory and the evolution of the mutation rate and spectrum. I  accept graduate students primarily through UW's Genome Sciences Ph.D. program and Molecular & Cellular Biology umbrella program, and am looking for motivated postdoctoral fellowship candidates with experience in bioinformatics and/or population genetics. My pronouns are she/her.
