Welcome to My Website
I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. My research interests focus on color centers in diamond and silicon carbide, nuclear spin physics, optically polarizable molecules, and hyperpolarization. During my PhD and postdoctoral work, I made significant contributions to the field of quantum sensing based on organic crystals. I built a confocal microscope setup to study single silicon vacancy centers in silicon carbide and was the first to observe 6% ODMR contrast in a single shallow silicon vacancy center in 4H-SiC, surpassing the previous state-of-the-art. My team also recorded Rabi Oscillations and Free Induction Decay with multi-RF absorption in silicon carbide's silicon vacancy.
I am passionate about advancing magnetic resonance techniques, with the goal of developing next-generation, high-resolution NMR and MRI technologies to address challenges in materials science, quantum computing, and medical imaging.
