I am really glad to announce that I won the outstanding student leader award for the academic year 2009- 2010. It came as a mild shock when I saw the list of 15 nominated candidates neverthless I am really glad my efforts over the past year were recognized.

GBMES- Outstanding Student Group Award 2009 -2010
The awards night had more in store for me apart from the Student leader award. My student Organisation the Graduate Biomedical Engineering Society (GBMES) won the Outstanding student group award for 2009- 2010.
GSA Research Day- Best Academic support Program

The Best academic support program was won by the GSA - Research Day. I was part of the core organizing comittee for this event. In all it was a wonderful night with 3 awards, and a total of 4 awards for the work I have done over the last one year.
I thank my friends, colleagues and team for their support and wishes. :)
