I joined the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University in August 2020.  I received my Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2018.

I am leading a research group studying the deformation and failure behavior of materials. Specifically, we integrate multiscale computations spanning quantum, atomistic, and continuum levels and data-driven modeling to (i) develop high-fidelity multiscale computations beyond the current time and size limits, (ii) understand the underlying physics of materials' behavior, and (iii) design new materials. Currently, we are focusing on energy storage materials and polymer materials. Email us if you are interested in collaborating or joining our research group!

We are grateful for the funding support from the following agencies and the technical support for high-performance computing from CHPC!
