I am Xintong Han. I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Business Administration at Université Laval. My research lies at the intersection of quantitative marketing, platform economics, and industrial organization.
I study how digital platforms, pricing policies, and network structures shape user behavior, firm strategy, market outcomes, and welfare. My work uses structural econometric models and causal inference methods. These include field experiments, natural experiments, difference-in-differences designs, instrumental variables, and dynamic models.
Before joining Université Laval in July 2023, I was an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Concordia University. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics. My ORCID is 0000-0001-7369-0506.
