It was really cool to act in two feature films during the pandemic. Both had amazing casts and creative teams. Both were a joy to work on.
The most recent was The Madones, by writer/director Barrie Dunn. It's about a sister band who had a hit song back in the day and are now living life on the B side of fame. I have a juicy part, Wayne, a hipster banker who's in love with one of the sisters. You can rent it to stream on Prime Video, YouTube, and The Cineplex Store, among other platforms.
The earlier film, and maybe one of the first to go to camera during the pandemic, is Dawn, Her Dad & the Tractor, from writer/director Shelley Thompson. It's about a trans woman, Dawn, who returns to Nova scotia to mourn her mother and repair her relationship with her estranged father, who's a farmer. I play Jerry, a friendly farmer who runs a neighbouring farm. It's a nice cameo role, and luckily I'm in a number of scenes. I'm a continuity character. It's streaming on Tubi.
I'm very happy to be in these excellent films.

One of my favourite adventures was an expedition to the High Arctic. My job was to write about all of the various forms of science undertaken during the voyage. It was inspiring to get a first-hand perspective on one of the world's most remote locations.
