Joining the Club and use of the Climbing wall:
Beginners (or those that are a bit rusty) need to be guested in by a mentor and shown the necessary skills before signing competency and being let loose on the wall unsupervised.
If you are an experienced climber contact us to arrange an induction to the climbing wall and a demonstration of safe practice.

Membership of the Hanging Rockers includes:
Access to the Goratole Climbing Wall on club nights (for members only). Visitors may be guested in by a member who holds a valid MI Membership and has signed the Registration form. They will then be solely responsible for their guest(s). On arrival a guest form must be completed, these can be found in the folder in the club locker.
Non club members who hold a BMC or MI membership may guest use the wall as per normal club conditions.
They must have a valid membership and produce their card. They are also required to fill out a guest form and pay the £6/€8 fee.
Club membership to Mountaineering Ireland, the representative body for walkers and climbers in Ireland.
And of course the opportunity to meet with fellow climbers and learn new skills such as
climbing outdoors, bouldering and leading in a sociable and fun environment!
