To coincide with the staging of the ‘All Our Saturdays’ exhibition in 2011, Enniskillen Library hosted an information evening with a mountaineering theme.

Fergal Corrigan, Neil Elliott and Raymond Hassard – Fermanagh-born conquerors of Everest  related the story of their remarkable ascent to the summit of the world’s highest mountain above sea level. The talk was enhanced with a slideshow and followed by a Q&A session.

The Hanging Rockers are a locally-based climbing club that promotes the sport within Fermanagh and its neighbouring counties and offers an ideal opportunity for aspiring climbers to come along and learn more about this exciting and exhilarating sport!
