Children's Ministry
Our children's program provides fun ways for kids to learn about God through Sunday School classes and a special children's sermon that has become an important part of our Sunday Worship services. Pastor Mike often has his "Whizzo bag" and you just never know what he may have in there!
We believe that it is important for children of all ages to hear of God's love for them. Children are never a disruption to a service, but a wonderful addition! However, a nursery is available for parent's to take their children if they feel they need some quiet time.
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."--Luke 18:16
Students/Young Adults
The Hamilton Federated Church is committed to our community's youth. Our desire is to welcome and support our youth through ministry and service.
Our Sunday School classes spend time in groups studying the Word and discussing each aspect of the lesson presented.
YOUNG LIFE - We actively support and participate in the Hamilton Young Life, which is for high school students. Young Life is a non-denominational ministry that reaches out to adolescents through volunteer staff, club meetings and camps by building meaningful relationships with the students. Young Life is held at the Won by Won Center in Hamilton.
STARS - For our middle school students (6th-8th grades) we support and participate in STARS (Students Trusting Arisen Savior). STARS meets weekly on Wednesdays throughout the school year at the Won by Won Center.
CRY - Christian Regional Youth is for high school students who want to grow closer to God. The goal of CRY is:
To increase students' understanding of the nature of God and their relationship with God.
Allow for fellowship with other youth from all parts of the Region and provide benefits of personal enrichment from the opportunity of such sharing.
Help youth to come to a better understanding of themselves and to enrich their self-images so that they will become better persons and well adjusted Christians.
Increase their understanding of what it means to be a Christian, and how faith helps them be responsible for their own actions and decisions.
By supporting our youth in these ministries, we give them the opportunity to grow and learn with peers in a safe environment.
Adults
We want to empower men and women by giving them the necessary tools to meet the challenges of today's world and help them be outstanding fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, wage earners and care givers.
We recognize that our older church members have a rich heritage to pass on to young people seeking to fulfill God's plan.
Throughout the year, we meet in special Bible Study sessions and both men's and women's retreats that help us connect with God and each other.
