NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CONSULTACY
Throughout my consultancy with nonprofit organizations, I applied a range of strategic tools and evaluation frameworks to support program sustainability and organizational effectiveness. For example, in my evaluation work with Search for Common Ground, I used advanced analytical skills to assess program impact through the development and application of Logframe Matrices and Evaluation Design Matrices. These tools allowed me to break down complex program objectives into measurable outcomes, identify key performance indicators, and track the program's progress against its strategic goals. By analyzing assumptions, risk factors, and indicators, I was able to provide nuanced recommendations for improving the program's scalability and ensuring alignment with both organizational and funder expectations. Additionally, I conducted detailed assessments of the data collection methods used, ensuring methodological rigor and the integration of both qualitative and quantitative data sources to provide a holistic evaluation of the program's effectiveness.
For CEO Women, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the organization’s vision and the preconditions required in society to achieve that vision. I also utilized the Hedgehog Concept matrix to outline the organization's core competencies, passion, expertise, and resources, and employed the Value Curve Framework to illustrate CEO Women’s program offerings. Additionally, I used the Ansoff Matrix to assess the organization’s funding sources and Strategic Allies Analysis to identify key partnerships for long-term sustainability.
In my work with Salinas Action League, I developed financial tools, including budgeting calendars and expense tracking systems, to strengthen fiscal management and accountability. At the Monterey Jazz Festival, I incorporated the Theory of Change and interactive strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement and program evaluation. For the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, I assessed organizational sustainability and performance by examining the effectiveness and efficiency of its operational structure and management systems. I offered recommendations to strengthen their capacity for advancing public policy, delivering direct services, and enhancing community participation in their mission to address voluntary migration and refugee resettlement.
