Didace Habineza studied Electrical Engineering at the Ex-American Institute of Boumerdes University (INELEC), Boumerdes, Algeria, where he received his Engineering Diploma in 2010. In 2012, he got the Masters Degree in Mechatronics and Microsystems from the Université de Franche Comté, Besançon, France.

Between october 2012 and december 2015, Didace has been with the University of Franche Comté and the department of Automatic Control and Micro-Mechatronic Systems (AS2M) of FEMTO-ST Institute, Besançon, France, where he pursued the PhD degree in Automatic Control.

Didace received the "Foreign Students in Engineering Award" in 2010 by the Rector of Boumerdes University, Boumerdes, Algeria. In 2014, he got the "Best Presentation in Session Award" in the session "Modeling, Analysis, and Control of Systems with Hysteresis" at the 2014 American Control Conference held in Portland, Oregon, USA. He was also Invited Speaker in the frame of the tutorial "Advanced Control and Noise Reduction for MicroManipulation", organized at the 2014 IEEE-AIM Conference held in Besançon, France.

He is currently working in Industrial area as Controls Application Engineer.
