Introduction to determinantal point process: the Pearcey process and its generating function
The Pearcey process is a universal determinantal point process (DPP) associated to the Pearcey kernel. By universal, one mean that this point process appears in several models from mathematics and physics. During this talk I am going to do some reminders about point processes and determinantal ones: definitions, properties. In a second time, I will illustrate the notion of determinantal point process by considering the example of the Pearcey process. I will describe some models from Random Matrix Theory and from non-intersecting Brownian Motion for which the Pearcey point process appear. Finally, I will present some results on the generating function of the Pearcey process. I will introduce a new differential equation satisfied by this generating function by considering Riemann-Hilbert methods associated to IIKS-integrable operator. This last part is based on a work ( arXiv:2209.02411 ) to appear in Mathematical Physics, Analysis and Geometry.

Interacting Vertex Reinforced Random Walks on Graphs
This talk presents a relatively informal introduction to reinforced processes on graphs starting with a description of the classical Pólya urn model and the (self) reinforced vertex random walk on a graph. We then introduce several models of interacting vertex reinforced random walks, covering a large variety of interactions which include cooperative and competitive dynamics. We will describe some results concerning the almost sure asymptotic behaviour of the relative vertex occupation measures by each walk and then present briefly some of the techniques involved, i.e. stochastic approximations and shadowing techniques from dynamical systems. This work is the result of a collaboration with Fernando P.A. Prado.

Transição de fase em processos de contato
O objetivo desta palestra é apresentar aos estudantes um modelo amplamente estudado na literatura de probabilidade, o Processo de Contato, que pode ser visto como uma modelagem para a propagação de uma infecção. Este modelo, em sua forma clássica, exibe uma transição de fase bem estabelecida. Em um trabalho, em colaboração com Bernardo de Lima (veja [1] abaixo), o Processo de Contato é estudado em um grafo aleatório dinâmico onde, sob certas condições, a transição de fase não ocorre.
