Since September 2023 I am an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Ciências Matemáticas e de Computação -  Universidade de São Paulo (ICMC - USP), in Brazil. Currently, I am also a  FAPESP Young Investigator fellow 

Before that, from August 2016 to December 2019 I was a Postdoctoral Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan, where I was also part of the Integrable Probability Focused Research Group (FRG). I defended my Ph.D. in mathematics at KU Leuven (Belgium), in April 2016, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Arno Kuijlaars.  

In December 2021, I obtained my Habilitation (Livre-Docência) in Mathematics at ICMC - USP.

My current research goal is to understand asymptotics of interacting particle systems, in particular of eigenvalues of random matrices, both at macroscopic and microscopic scales, and their connections with integrable systems.
