Girl Scouts does not run without a very dedicated team of Leaders, Volunteers, and Parents.
Every Level of our troop has a Primary Leader and at least one Co-Leader. The Leader has overall responsibility for the running of the group. This means planning and delivering the Program with the help of Co-Leaders and other helpers.
Your leadership team volunteers our time. We are required to go through a rigorous ongoing training program, monthly meetings, an extensive background check, many hours of hard work, little sleep, and give up time with our own families. We do this because of how much fun we get out of the program and how much we love seeing your daughter's eyes light up when they are having fun.
We have more young ladies interested in Girl Scouts than spaces available so we are always looking for more Leaders: with the right support we could certainly open an additional Level for any age, so we would love to hear from you if you'd be willing to take on the fun of leadership!
