The Process

 PIA proposes an adaptive management process, supported by tools and templates, to assist in guiding community in planning to undertake their responsibilities, to explore possibilities & take action to improve their standard of living in a continuing and independent basis through transparency and accountability. 

 The first three stages are ment to assist in the following:-

• 1st Stage - Identify:- community's visioning their situation, direction, resources, needs and possibilities,

• 2nd Stage - Analyze:-   community’s undertaking of the following:-

  • • • Geospatial analysis,

      • Stakeholder analysis,

      • EPISTEL (Environment, Potical, Informational, Social, Technological, Environment, Economic and Legal) analysis

      • Communication analysis,

        • SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Treats) analysis 

of their assets, resources and needs in order to create a sustainable strategic plan for community’s independent and continuing development.

• 3rd Stage - Plan:- Community's development of a Sustainable Strategic Plan, Action Plan, Communication Plan  and Monitoring and Evaluation Plan.
