Gregory S. Van Kirk:

As a Composer / Producer / Artist / Musician, main instrument bass, Fender Zone, Gregory's playing style can range from solid and smooth to junky or clunky, hip hop, pop, Latin, swing, arppegiate or rock. Gregory provides a wide array of techniques and solid grooves with the skills to improvise and compose.

Composing the mission is usually to express the true emotions of the piece while allowing it to grow and begin to speak with me / the listener while creating a mood or theme. Exploring various instruments tone, texture, harmony and rhythmic variations may lead to a magical musical piece. Once you have narrowed down your idea play it with emotion and confidence you own it, now share it ...with the world.

Producing can be a fun and delicate situation. Maintaining focus while allowing the artist to experiment to a point. The producer may at times if needed interject positive and encouraging criticism while maintaining a productive and creative environment with a common goal and intentions. Maintaining or expanding an artist/s repertoire while maintaining stylistic integrity can often fall into the hands of the producer.

Artist / Musician I feel our Mission is to preserve and explore Music Art and Life. Reach for what we can not see, Imagine what we can only Imagine.

Musical Mission, Basically Funk it up, have fun at my musical level while developing all around as a artist and player. Utilize experience while learning and develop an appropriate part that compliments and helps carry the tune or piece. Listen to what the music has to say and what it is asking for or the direction you wish to take it, become as much of a listener as a player.
