Gregory Van Kirk an American musician who serves as lead bass player of the multi talented band Strange Arrangement®. Raised on Pine Island , Florida, Gregory developed an interest in music at a young age. His parents and grand parents exposed him to jazz funk rock swing country and any other music they enjoyed. Gregory played in various bands until forming the group Strange Arrangement® with brother Warren Van Kirk.

Early life:

Gregory Van Kirk was born and raised in a small neighbourhood in Nyack, New York with his brother, Warren. As a child Gregory explored his environment and really enjoyed this time. As Gregory grew parents Anna and Warren nurtured his freedom creativity and yet to be discovered passion and craft.

Gregory performs with his band:

Music playing or performing was not an integral part of the Van Kirk upbringing. However Father, Mother, Uncle, Aunt and Grand parents were always listening to and open to new music and art . His mother an avid crafter often teaching both boys. The parents and community helped teach young Gregory to respect the world we live in at a young age.

Gregory had multiple instruments as a child, but not till after his teen years did he develop a craving to explore music. Playing guitar piano bass and anything he could produce sound from the brothers started to study music theory. Gregory started his first band with brother Warren Van Kirk , who would later become the singer of Strange Arrangement®. The brothers practised and studied in numerous trailers or sheds provided by the parents on the property on Pine Island Florida and now referred to as "Studio 7" on the compound.

Career with Strange Arrangement®:

Gregory began performing as with Strange Arrangement® at small show, house parties and barbecues in late 1990's. The band was often a mix of friends with no musical concept or real stage show just creating a good time and often ask where they would be performing next . As the performance of Strange Arrangement® gained a reputation for their strange behaviour, costumes and dance moves "THE STRANGE SHUFFLE" step to the left jump wiggle then back to the right, Strange Arrangement® continued to gain popularity. Gregory developed his unique style of playing and inter acting with the crowd. Gregory was becoming known for his bounce ability, positive out look, costumes and stage presence and often glowing strings. DR NEON™

/ 1.3 Strange Arrangement® success in 2000

Gregory, on Strange Arrangement®'s success in 2000:

With a growing popularity in Florida, Strange Arrangement® had decided to produce a few video projects. Around this same time Gregory was writing new material, performing at city block parties (zombicon, River District Alliance events Sydney and Berne Davis Art Centre in Ft Myers Florida ), numerous charity events.

2011 Strange Arrangement® was nominated for Alliance for the Arts artist of the year award.

Gregory Van Kirk and brother Warren, Strange Arrangement® filed for and received a trade mark with the United States Patent Office. Gregory continues performing with Strange Arrangement® and refining his craft.

Studio:

The majority of Gregory s earlie home recordings were recorded with brother Warren using the Roland 1680 digital recorder. Thought the Strange Arrangement® career the brothers have worked in various studios : The Cooler, Unity Gain, The Live Room, Sonic, "Studio 7" on the compound.

Written and produced By : Warren and Gregory Van Kirk filmed on location at the brothers home studio and the Live Room. The brothers recorded the song earlier January 2012, and started filming "Frequency Low" music video mid January, and planned for a release late February early March 2012.

Van Kirk plays a double role while at work this business man is hacking away on his company computer sending data to a military Sergeant who unscrambles the encodes messages and relays the data to Gregory S. Van Kirk a decorated officer and a top aviator who pilots the mission in his sub frequency craft successfully tracking the Low Frequency Waves into infinity and beyond.

2013 Warren and brother Gregory were asked to make an appearance on Fox 4 Rising morning show with Alex Butler to promote the popular Taste of Pine Island event held on Pine Island Florida. The producers and fans enjoying the

performance asked the brothers to join the back several
