Bio/CV

 I am an associate professor of economics at Williams College and an affiliate of the CESifo research network (Climate and Energy Economics).  I am also an associate editor of the Journal of Economic Growth. 

For the 2024-25 academic year, I am serving as a senior economist at the Council of Economic Advisors. My portfolio includes climate policy, industrial strategy, and macroeconomics.

My work on second-best climate policy is funded by the National Science Foundation.
