Bio/CV

I am an associate professor of economics at Williams College and a Nonresident Senior Fellow in Economics Studies at the Brookings Institution. I am also an affiliate of the CESifo research network (Climate and Energy Economics). 

From 7/2024 to 3/2025, I served as the senior economist for climate policy and industrial strategy at the Council of Economic Advisers.

My work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and the Washington Center for Equitable Growth.
