The speaker for the evening will be Joanna Moyar from the Westmoreland Historical Society. Her topic "Cut from the Same Cloth" will explore the phrase through historic clothing styles.

The speaker for the evening will be Tracy Rocco who is an ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter. She is the coordinator for ASL services in Westmoreland County.

All Greensburg College Club members are invited to our annual scholarship night. This meeting will be May 11, 2023 (note date change) at 7 P.M. We will meet in the Laurel Room at the Greesnburg Garden and Civic Center.
Come meet the students and parents of this very deserving students.
As a community project, we will be collecting donations for the Blackburn Center at this meeting. They are need of kitchen utensils, cooking items, bathroom supplies, bedroom and personal items as well as baby and small child items. Gift cards to Giant Eagle, Walmart, Shop 'n Save and Target are also needed.

She will share with our group the many changes she experienced under Helter's powere. A published author she will also share excerpts from her German poetry book.

This project began in 1992 and has developed a biking/hiking trail that stretches from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C. October 2021
The October 21, 2021 meeting of the Greensburg College Club will be at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. The meeting will begin at 7 P.M.
The program is entitled "Pennsylvania Goes to the Polls" will be presented by Mr. Steve Mihaly. He will share rare presidential campaign artifacts from his private collection, which is one of the largest collections of its kind in the country.
Mr. Mihaly will evaluate any election artifacts brought to the meeting by members and guests.

MISCELLANOUS
Members of the Reading Circle group should mail their check of $25 to Carol D'Astolfo. You can also bring your check to the meeting in October. Books will be distributed before the meeting.
The Community Service Committee is not sure if they will be able to have the Westmoreland Manor Party due to Covid restrictions. Instead, this group will collect money at the monthly meetings which will then be given to a charity in Westmoreland County. This month we will be collect for the Westmoreland Food Bank.

The final meeting of the 2020-2021 season for the Greensburg College Club will be held on May 20, 2021 at St. Emma Monastery, Route 819, Greensburg. At this meeting we will meet our scholarship winners for this year. This has always been a highlight of the year because this is what College Club is about. Since we weren't able to meet last years winners due to Covid, this is a special meeting for all of us.

The Reading Circle annual dinner will be held on July 13th (6 PM) at Olives and Peppers. Please make your reservation with Paula Daily by July 7th.
A June Brunch will be held at DeNunzio's for all chairs and co-chairs of the 2020-2021 season. Please call Paula Daily to make a reservation.

Our speaker, Steve Mikaly, is a retired Vice President of the Heinz Company. For the past 50 plus years he has been a collector of Political Americana. His talk entitled "125 years of Presidential Memorabilia" should be light and whimsical.
If you have a "rare" Presidential item bring it to the meeting and Mr. Mikaly will review it.
