April 2020
As you are all aware the April meeting has been canceled due to the current directions from the state. We are hoping the "social distancing" order will be lifted so that we are able to have our May meeting, which is the final meeting of the year. At this final meeting, we usually meet our new scholarship winners.
If for some reason, we must cancel our May meeting the scholarship committee will still select our winners and introduction them to club members by remote, probably with a short Bio in our newsletter. Also at the May meeting, we will be collecting things/money for the Blackburn Center. Check your April newsletter for details.
Watch for the next newsletter to keep informed about developments.
REMINDERS:
1. Dues for the 2020-2021 year are due in May. Due to the cancellation of our Spring fundraiser, you can also make a voluntary contribution to our club to help with lost revenue.
2. Check out the slate of new officers in your April newsletter. If you have no objections to the slate, as presented, you don't have to do anything. If you object to the slate call Jane Feightner .
