Our Annual Events Include:

SEPTEMBER

Kindergarten Coffee - Casual event for Kindergarten parents to come mingle and meet Counselors at MIW

OCTOBER

GRAND Event - K-3 event typically held on a Wednesday afternoon at MIW late-October. Students take their Grandparents and “Grandfriends” on a tour of the school while participating in various activities. Our biggest event of the year!

NOVEMBER

Fill A Bus Fill A Belly - A week-long food drive held at GMS with the goal of filling a school bus to benefit the Cumberland Food Pantry.

JANUARY/FEBRUARY

Movie Night for MIW - A Friday evening show in the Multipurpose room, complete with popcorn.

APRIL

Trivia Night - GMS Grades 4-6 show off their knowledge in a battle for Trivia victory.

Poetry Jam - K - 5 students read their own or their favorite poems! This event will either kick-off the Poetry Unit for 4-5, or serve as a celebration at the end of the unit.

MAY

Staff Appreciation Week - Always the first week of May. Greely PTO creates a list of suggested activities for students to follow during the week and creates special appreciation gifts for ALL MSAD51 staff members.

Memorial Day 5K - Greely PTO, in partnership with CNY Rec. Department, sponsors the 5K before the annual Memorial Day parade.
