Quality Developments on carefully selected sites.

Eastlands Care Home - A residential home for the elderly at Beech Avenue in Taverham, built in 1990.
With a family history of working on and within care homes, Mr. Gray recognised the need for purpose built, ground floor residential homes in the Norwich area in the late 1980's. Hence our first ventures into development was building Eastlands, followed by St. Mary's, both of which we continued to own and run for a number of years.
St. Mary's Care Home - A residential home for the elderly off the North Walsham Road at Crostwick, built in 1992. The homes proved extremely successful and enjoyed an excellent reputation.
Olive House Care Home - A residential home for the elderly at Olive Close in Newton Flotman, built in 1998. This home was developed with the benefit of our experience having completed and run Eastlands and St. Mary's and Mr. Gray's brother and his wife then ran the home and later purchased it from us.

Yareview Close, Reedham - a superb site consisting of 30 properties overlooking the tranquil waters of the River Yare and Reedham Ferry. A mix of detached and semi detached houses and bungalows. Several properties were bought "off plan" and the development attrached young families, older people looking to retire to the countryside and boating enthusiasts.

We also purchased 2 small sites in our local village of Drayton, on the outskirts of Norwich. At Pond Lane we built two high quality 4 bed detached houses, with sunlounges and south facing gardens in 2002 and on the High Road we built two high quality linked detached properties, again with sunlounges and south facing gardens in 2004.

We also purchased and gained planning consent on sites in North Walsham, North Repps and Erpingham, in North Norfolk and a site in Watton (on a former snooker club). We built out and sold the 4 properties in Greens Road at North Walsham, whereas at Erpingham, once we obtained planning consent and had put in the roads and infrastructure we sold the site to a larger builder. At North Repps, once we had obtained the planning consent we sold the site on to a larger building contractor for them to develop out. We gained planning consent for 12no. over 55 bungalows at Watton and after demolishing the old snooker club this site was also sold to another a local developer who built out the properties. More recently we obtained planning consent for 15no. sheltered bungalows for the over 55's at the remainder of our site in Crostwick (adjacent to St. Mary's Care Home) and sold this site to a developer from the Southwold area. Each of these sites proved to be very popular and the properties fitted in superbly with the local areas, some containing Norfolk flint and mainly traditional Norfolk red brick.

We are extremely proud of each of our developments, which have all been completed to a high standard with great attention to detail and we aways pride ourselves on excellent customer care.

We have also built, developed and managed various commercial business units over the years.

Initially we purchased a block of 4 industrial units at Reydon near Southwold which proved popular for investment purposes. We eventually sold these to the business owners in the premises.

We developed 14 office and 1 light industial unit at Beech Avenue in Taverham, which we retained for investement purposes. We based our administration office here for a time and it proved to be a thriving business community with architects, accountants, web developers and a children's nursery amongst other businesses on the site.

The Taverham site proved to be very popular with very few vacancies over the years.

We also purchased the Old Winery site off Chapel Street at Cawston, where we had to demolish the old winery buildings and clean up the site ready for development. We had lengthy discussions and negotiations with the local authority Planning dept. regarding the re-development of this brownfield site and eventually obtained consent for a mixed use development consisting of 24no. residential properties, some office and industrial units and a large purpose built car home for the elderly, together with some adjoining affordable sheltered units for the elderly, which was the first of its kind in the Broadland area.

We sold the residential area to a local developer who built out that part of the site. After designing a state of the art modern, purpose built ground floor care home with sheltered units we then sold it on to a well known care home provider. We then went on to develop 4 of the office units and 4 of the industrial units before selling those and the remainder of the site to another local builder to complete and hold for investment purposes.
