Fall Practice Program
Tuesdays and Thursdays After School (4:00pm to 5:30pm, subject to change)
- Designed to teach foundational strength training in the weight room necessary for high performance
- Workouts will also focus on Core, Balance, and Plyometric training
- A variety of environments are used to facilitate a lacrosse specific Speed, Agility, and Quickness program
- Workouts will take place on the school track, sandbox, and grass fields
- Wall Ball, Individual Offensive/Defensive Skills, and Team Skill Development
- Workouts will take place on the grass fields and at the Kennedy Park Tennis Courts
The Fall Practice program is designed to provide a practice opportunity for all skill levels within our program. Players will find themselves in a team environment where they can learn, grow, and lead. The all-inclusive program design, and scalability from beginner to expert, allows for all members to excel in one setting. Coach Doster is a licensed Certified Personal Trainer.
Participation in the Fall Practice Program is highly recommended for all players who plan to play for the program in the regular season. We also encourage our student-athletes to pursue other sports/clubs at Granite Hills, higher level off-season participation in lacrosse, and activities in the community. Therefore, we do not discredit athletes who are not able to participate in off-season competition as long as they are pursuing other endeavours with the same intentions we require at Granite Hills Lacrosse.
