My Basic Green Smoothie

Put in a blender with some clout:

1/2 - 1 cup (or so) water

1 nice big fat handful of spinach

1/2 handful of kale or other greens

1 prune to sweeten the mix

After your green base is completely smooth, add the following and blend again:

1/2 banana (broken into pieces and frozen earlier)

1 cup of frozen fruit or berries

2 drops of lemon essential oil to give it a kick.

I put this in a portable glass with a straw and sip on it as I begin my work day. When I'm not at work, I put it in a nice glass and feel like a queen as I sip.

Super Vegetable Smoothie: This comes from Jen & Danny (my kids). Someone Danny knew had huge health issues and by drinking this twice/day, he had dramatic improvements...apparently his hair even grew back! Can't promise the hair, but it can't hurt. Experiment with the ingredients, try adding a few oils then leave comments on this page with what you find. I'll update the recipe to reflect success!

  • In your high powered blender, combine the following:

    • Carrots

    • Celery

    • Parsley
