The Golden K Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction has disbanded. Here is an excerpt from an email that Bruce Taylor the club secretary sent to Kiwanis International following our meeting 6/23/21:
"The nine of us who are still members and still able to attend meetings, met today. The decision to close was voted on and it was unanimous. The reasons are that we have not been able to bring in new members who really want to stay and take on the responsibilities necessary to run a successful club and too many current members, still alive, are getting too old to keep things going as they should be."
