24th January                           Elaine   - a walk of 7.5 miles, starting 10am in Wash Village or leave by car-share                                                       from  glossop market at 9:30am.  Encompassing Bowden Hall / Shireoaks /                                                                  Pennine Bridleway / South Head / Andrew's Farm / The Wash.

By car to start:                     Turn R out of market ground on to A624. Past Hayfield to T-junction under                                                                  railway bridge. Turn L .  After a short distance see "The Wash" sign post to go L.                                                        Carry on under small low bridge. Under next bridge go L then R and park on                                                                roadside.
