My Training & Experience

I am a BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy. I have over fifteen years’ experience of working as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I mainly work in private practice in Giffard Park, Milton Keynes.

I initially trained and qualified as a social worker. As my career progressed I moved into a number of different social work management roles. For some years I worked as a therapist in a psychiatric hospital.  I have experience of working with children, adolescents, adults, older people and couples, also with those with mental health problems and learning difficulties.

My initial training to become a counsellor and psychotherapist was with Westminster Pastoral Foundation. That training was psycho-dynamic in orientation. I followed this up with training in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre, London.

I am actively involved in continuing professional development.
