On this site you can find out about the approach I take to my work as a counsellor and psychotherapist, my training and experience and what I can offer you. 
 
There are many reasons why you may be considering seeing a therapist. You may feel overwhelmed and burdened by life's experiences, from the past, in the present or perhaps from both past and present experiences. Sometimes these burdens can become too much to cope with. Perhaps there is a specific issue you would like to look at, or maybe an underlying feeling of something not being quite right? You may feel that you are at a point in your life where you would like to make some changes, or perhaps you would like a safe place in which to explore your personal growth.  
 
Talking to a therapist offers an opportunity to share your concerns without the fear of being judged or criticised. In order to do this safely I offer a confidential supportive environment and work non-judgementally at your pace, recognising the uniqueness of your individual values, belief systems and cultural background. I will work with you to establish a nurturing, trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel heard and understood. I will assist you to explore and make sense of your situation. The process will empower you to make your own choices and to make the changes that may be helpful within your life.  

I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is paramount for successful therapy. It is therefore most important that you find the therapist that feels right for you.
