Transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is the new International Standard for Occupational Health & Safety. This standard demonstrates your companies commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for your workers and visitors alike. Your company’s aim is to reduce work-related injury, ill-health or even death and continually monitor and improve on Health & Safety within your company.

This may be your first application for a Health & Safety Standard like ISO 45001 or perhaps your company already is certified to OHAS 18001 Health & Safety Management System? If so, you must transition to the new standard ISO 45001 as OHSAS 18001 will be withdrawn on the publication of ISO 45001. Companies have approximately three years to transition to the new standard.
