ISO45001 Lead Auditor Training

When a company decides to implement a standard such as ISO45001 – Occupational Health & Safety, they may employ a consultant such as GlenView Group Inc who’s job will be to bring their expert knowledge and experience to your company and team. The consultant will set out a detailed plan and time schedule of the ISO45001 implementation, along with mile-stones that will need to be met in order to keep the project on track. Once all objectives have been achieved the company will then apply for accreditation of this standard and based on preparation & expert planning, the company should then successfully become accredited with the ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety standard by the third-party certification body.

Once the standard has been obtained, the company must provide resources internally that will maintain the necessary actions needed to maintain the standard within the company. The plan – do-check-act cycle must be adhered to for all health & safety related polices and procedures in order for the company to capitalise on minimising health and safety work place accidents and fatalities and to remain compliant with the standard.

Many companies who apply for ISO45001 will already have obtained certification of ISO9001:2015 and have an established Quality Management System in place. The addition of ISO45001 therefore will be an addition and this standard can be integrated into the existing quality management system. A clause requirement of both ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001 is to have an internal audit schedule and for the company to be performing internal audits on its systems. The appointment of an internal auditor will ensure that the company can adhere to their audit schedule and ensure that any non-forming items captured on the internal audits is being actioned and closed out.

Glenview Group Inc offer ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Training. This training will help your trainee become knowledgeable in the standard requirements and the regulatory and statutory requirements of the company in relation to their Occupational Health & Safety System. It will give the trainee the confidence to create an internal audit schedule and the tools necessary to conduct the audit, review the findings and using quality tools – find the root cause and implement corrective action to either eliminate or at-best reduce the risk associated with the health & safety findings of the audit.

We offer class-room based Internal Auditor courses regularly in our Los Angeles facility and can also provide on-site training (depending on number of trainees if required). Please contact Glenview Group Inc today for more information.
